As they walked towards the scene, the scent of death hit them. Unfortunately, not all animal rescues are 100% successful as we are about to find out. A mother cat had given birth to kittens on the streets and source @HopeforPaws was called in to assist.
A necessary task
Despite the gruesome discovery that a poor mother cat had died, they knew they had a job to do. It’s an easier way, someone said, implying that despite the somber circumstances, this was a task they had to perform.
However, their main concern was about the kittens. They were worried that the small creatures might escape amidst all the chaos and confusion. A quick survey of the situation made them realize that they needed to block all possible exits for the kittens.
Counting kittens
The big question was how many kittens there were. From what they had seen yesterday, there seemed to be around five. As they started spotting the tiny felines around the room, their hearts filled with sorrow and hope simultaneously.
