Since then, he has become a beloved member of their palliative care program. Despite his condition, Arlo remains a happy and cuddly boy who loves spending his days bird watching and hanging out with the other cats.

Arlo was rescued from a pound up North with suspected kidney issues, and it wasn’t until he was taken in by Best Friends Felines that they discovered the true cause of his unquenchable thirst – Insipidous Diabetes.
This condition makes him thirsty all the time, and there is no cure. But with the help of his loving and dedicated caretakers, Arlo has found a way to manage his condition and live a comfortable life.
Living a happy life
Despite his condition, Arlo continues to thrive under the care of Best Friends Felines. He loves spending time with his human family, cuddling up on the couch.
He has even become a big brother to foster kittens that are brought into the rescue . It has also been discovered recently that he also has a low-grade heart murmur, which they are monitoring.
